Iron GM and Dexcon Announce Original Player Prize for Dexcon 15

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY – June 24, 2012 – Iron GM LLC, creators of the Iron GM® tournament that turns adventure-making into competitive sport and Dexcon 15, where America comes to play, announced an original prize raffle to be held July 6th, 2012 during the upcoming Dexcon 15 Iron GM Regional Semifinal.

Iron GM and Dexcon 15 will raffle off an art commission by popular fantasy artist Aaron Acevedo. Aaron will paint an idealized version of the lucky winner of the raffle or their character into a high fantasy scene.

The winner will have the opportunity to discuss the scene with Aaron after the raffle, and Mr. Acevedo will deliver the poster-sized painting approximately four weeks after the show.

“Oh, man. You got me…I’d be happy to do it and be a guest of the Con too,” responded Aaron when Iron GM approached him about offering his talents to Dexcon gamers as a prize.

Asked how they plan to conduct the raffle, Iron GM commented, “It involves ancient engineering and things that explode – and that’s all we’re prepared to say at this time.”

DEXCON 15, held in Morristown NJ at the Morristown Hyatt and Conference Center, July 4th – July 8th 2012, will host its Iron GM Regional Semi-Final on July 6th. All Iron GM participants, players and GMs, will receive prizes, just for showing up to play. The victorious competitor at Iron GM | DEXCON will also win a free trip to Gen Con Indy 2012 to compete in the Iron GM World Championship.
